Some of you may have noted a recent lot that passed through eBay that included a number of sets of Scale-Craft decals. Most of the sets look like they are likely still usable, if handled gently. These sets were produced for Scale-Craft by Walthers in 1946, and, I knew that at least some of them must have the pre-war decal drawings with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which they did! The following are the new ones to me, that I have also added them to the page of drawings found here. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other detail I\u2019d just reiterate here, the drawing generally match the decals included in the sets of this era, but the actual decals are different than the pre-war decals, smaller in size and almost certainly HO scale. But at least S-C was keeping a product on the market, even expanding their offerings, and for sure they saw use in the period. I\u2019ll have an example to share shortly in a separate article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
