Just received are a group of new OO parts by Jeffs OO, Nason 2-8-0 replacement parts and also AB brake components. The 3D printed parts as received are seen below, the brass parts arriving in black \u201cjewelry bags.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For several years Jeffs OO has had a group of OO parts available on Shapeways (most notably the Scale-Craft bolsters, described here<\/a>). One of his personal projects has involved working on a Nason 2-8-0, and as I\u2019ve also been collecting parts to complete one I thought it was time to buy what I could use from his Nason collection. I did not buy all of them, as some of them I had originals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The parts are very sharp. I think with this I have all the parts I need to get a Nason 2-8-0 project together, a project for the fall\/winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other new part is the set of AB brake components. For these, everyone has been using HO parts for years, and it is interesting to see the full sized OO parts. I have yet to apply a set to a car, but I will soon and when I do I\u2019ll update with additional photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
