More cars with Prewar Scale-Craft Decals

In my book in the section on Scale-Craft I included as many cars as I could with the original prewar decals they provided. They have a distinctive look and I think enhance the value of a model.

Since then, I have found a few more examples, beyond those in the book. These, in fact, all were in the same recently purchased lot.

First up we have boxcars. Could wish they were in better shape, but at least we can now see the L&N and B&O schemes on models.

Next we have B&O again but on a nicely built hopper. Check out the car number, 012345 is pretty unlikely! Also depicted is the IC scheme.

Next is two of the same car, the Sinclair tank car. The builders took different approaches to putting the lettering behind the ladders.

A caboose ends the survey of new models, it is an interesting comparison to the common Lionel model.

This final car is in the book, and is a pretty common model, but this one is in uncommonly good shape other than a bent brake wheel. I’d like to point out as well, this one has the early version of the frame, which has the trucks set too far in from the ends.
