If any of you have ever tired it, you have found out that you can’t put Schorr trucks on most Scale-Craft models due to the “flat frame” design. If the car is at the correct height, the full size OO wheels used in the Schorr truck will rub on the floor of the car. Scale-Craft trucks have undersized wheels to compensate for what had to have been a design mistake.

And Schorr trucks are great! How to use them on these cars?

One answer I came up with is the below: cut big slots in the floor, which I did with mostly a jewelers saw. Saving enough material that they are still structurally sound.

It was kind of a lot of work to be honest, I doubt I’ll do it again. But the finished look is nice as seen below, and of course they roll great.
