Some of you may have noted a recent lot that passed through eBay that included a number of sets of Scale-Craft decals. Most of the sets look like they are likely still usable, if handled gently. These sets were produced for Scale-Craft by Walthers in 1946, and, I knew that at least some of them must have the pre-war decal drawings with them.

Which they did! The following are the new ones to me, that I have also added them to the page of drawings found here.

The other detail I’d just reiterate here, the drawing generally match the decals included in the sets of this era, but the actual decals are different than the pre-war decals, smaller in size and almost certainly HO scale. But at least S-C was keeping a product on the market, even expanding their offerings, and for sure they saw use in the period. I’ll have an example to share shortly in a separate article.
